Connie Donley, Founder and President of Love In Action, is a member of the Lions Club International and has been trained by Lions Club International to work in a team distributing free reading eyeglasses.  Love In Action partners with Lions Club International in providing hundreds of pairs of free reading glasses to people who otherwise would not be able to have access to the eyeglasses they need.  When Love In Actionwas in the Philippines in February and March 2011 we distributed 500 pairs of reading eyeglasses, provided by the Lions Club International, to men, women and children in the barrios in and around Kalibo, Aklan and Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.  People who otherwise cannot afford to have their eyes examined, or to purchase needed eyeglasses, were thrilled to be able to have reading eyeglasses given to them for free, provided by Lions Club International and distributed by Love In Action!

Love In Action Inc is also the liaison partnering with Lions Club International and Missions 2 Africa, as well as ministries and clinics in Ghana, Pakistan and India, to provide reading glasses for people in need.  We expect to help supply 500 pair of reading eyeglasses to Missions 2 Africa in September 2011, 5,000 pair to Love In Action Inc's medical missions trip to the Philippines in December 2011, and to Pakistan, Ghana and India before the end of 2011!
