Beauty for Ashes is a women’s group that is team-led by Pam Wilsey-Umbay along with co-leader Charlotte Stewart.  This is an extension group from Celebrate Recovery / Life Hurts God Heals and focuses on helping and lifting one another up through the love of Christ and learning His Word.

This anointed team gathers together weekly with amazing women who are finding their way out of confusing lives of varying addictions, abuse, low-self-esteem and pain in many forms.  This group of women are being transformed by Jesus Christ into women of hope, enjoying newfound freedom and joy in Jesus!

Beauty for Ashes follows a disciplined Bible study to include Bible verse memorization and practical application of principles and truths learned.  It involves corporate prayer and personal contact with each other, as well as interaction via phone calls, texting and getting together for fellowship and ministry outreach.

According to His Word in Isaiah 61:3, “To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be Glorified.“  In Jesus’ name.  Amen!
